An Afternoon Out

While we were in Nebraska in July, we went to Allie's Great Grandpa and Grandma Hippen's for the afternoon.

She decided it would be fun to try climbing the coffee table.

Hanging Out With Daddy

Ugh...Ear Infection

Allie has an ear infection, stuffy nose, and fever. After two restless nights we went to the pedi today. This is her second ear infection that she's ever had and she's not dealing with it very well. The doctor gave us some meds so hopefully we'll start seeing some immediate improvement.

Newlyweds

Taking a break from all the posts surrounding Allie and sharing a picture of the newly married couple. Allie had a lot of fun hanging out with her aunt and uncle though. Her face brightened everytime Uncle Jesse entered the room.

AZ Science Center

We took Allie to visit the Arizona Sceince Center in late June. She had fun playing with the interactive exhibits. This weekend when Aunt Amanda comes to town we're going to the new Phoenix Children's Museum.

Bathtime, Bedtime

Who doesn't feel refreshed after taking a bath? And check out all those chompers. A whole mouth full. But we couldn't keep the tiredness at bay for long. Time for bed.

Pool Time

Allie enjoying some time in her baby pool. In the final picture she's listening to the airplane flying overhead. Future pilot? I'm sure her dad would be happy with that choice.

Memorial Day in Nebraska

Yes you're reading this correctly. I am posting about Memorial Day in the middle of August. I'm trying to get caught up on pictures from our whirlwind summer we had. Allie and I arrived in Nebraska over Memorial Day weekend and stayed two weeks until the middle of June. This was our first of two trips back there for the summer. Here's a few photos from the trip.

Home

I made it back home on Wednesday afternoon without any problems. Brian and Allie had a fabulous time while I was away. She was very excited to see her mommy on Wednesday night though. I'm now home for the next month until Allie and I head to Nebraska for Brandon's wedding. Can you believe that will mark her sixth trip to Nebraska? We've already signed her up for her own frequent flier card.

On My Way

I'm off to Seattle for work tomorrow. I come back on Wednesday. So that means Brian is in charge of Little One for 72 hours. I know they'll have a blast together. And I'm trying to make it as easy as possible by having dinner prepared ahead of time, picking out Allie's clothes, and having the diaper bag ready to go. I'll miss them both like crazy! Is it Wednesday yet????

Berries!

Allie loves all the berries she can get those little hands on! Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries - you put it in front of her and she'll eat them right up! And leave a little bit of evidence behind.

Eye Teeth

Allie's 13th and 14th teeth are making their debut. And it is the dreaded Eye Teeth! Both of the top teeth are pushing their way in. The poor little girl has been running a low grade fever and isn't sleeping well. She was able to spend the day with me yesterday which I think she enjoyed. And she's been getting rocked to sleep, which Brian and I enjoy! After these two chompers arrive we only have six more to go. Hopefully, it will all be over soon!

Model Pose

Here is one more photo from our shoot yesterday. Out of 61 pictures we had about 7 that were decent. Allie either wanted to run at the photographer, stand on the chair, or try and pick up the fake concrete wall they had as a prop. By the end of the shoot Brian and I were both soaked with sweat. Needless to say she slept really well last night after running on high for an hour and a half. We're hoping the 18 month pictures go smoother!

Beach Pictures

No, we didn't go to the beach. But we went and had our pictures taken with a fun beach background! This was the hardest photo shoot to date but there were some keepers.

Giving This A Try

As if there isn't enough things for me to do, I've decided to give the whole blog thing a try. This is the first attempt and who knows, it could very well be the last (though I wouldn't count on it). News and pictures of the events in our life are soon to follow. Stay tuned!
